At a very young age, Jacquie Jordan has already produced for some of the
hottest daytime personalities in television, including Montel Williams,
Donny & Marie Osmond, Maury Povich, Geraldo Rivera, and Cybill Shepherd.
She just garnished her second daytime Emmy nomination for best show. Within
the last year (2001), she launched the nationally syndicated talk show
Talk or Walk hosted by Michael Baisden. In addition, she recently completed
a full season at The Donny & Marie Show, a game show for the "Animal
Planet", a relationship show for USA Network, and a pilot for ABC
Primetime.
Prior to that, she worked on a variety of news and topical television formats. Jacquie has also produced for several cable networks, and teaches informative seminars on Getting Your Idea, Product, or Story on TV; Be Your Own Publicist & Think Like A Producer; Make Money For Free on TV!
Jacquie began her career in radio as a local disc jockey, then news reporter. After taking to the airwaves, she went on to become an on–air television reporter for the local station WMBC–TV in the New York ADI market and hosted several public affairs programs.
Through the various shows that Jacquie has produced, she's covered such diverse topics as finance, investments, health, alternative medicine, AIDS, cancer, death, accidents, bereavement, miracles, angels, UFO's, conspiracy, JFK, RFK, Martin Luther King, Gulf War Syndrome, Bosnia, Iraq, terrorism, politics, elections, re–elections, Medicare, welfare, family, relationships, parenting, divorce, ageism, discrimination, race, harassment, abuse, domestic violence, violence, violence in the media, violence in the schools, education, privatization, home schooling, school vouchers, and agoraphobia, to name a few.
Jacquie has also produced lighter, more entertaining topics including the Oscars, fashion trends, weight loss, sports, and many celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Shirley Jones, Jimmy Smits, Dixie Carter . . . and so on.
Jacquie is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in theater. Jacquie currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
